Is it a bird!? is it a plane!? No, it’s Freeskier Tom Wallisch!
The American freeskier shows off his unbelievable freestyle skills in this commercial for The North Face, and it’s seriously spell-bounding.
Imagination features a young boy in the back of his parents car, on the way to school. As they make their journey a skier flies past, that skier is freeskiing legend Tom Wallisch. He jumps trucks, bins, rooftops and everything else that gets in the way.
We love the camera work here, the slow mo’ capturing sparks flying from beneath the ski’s of Wallisch as he rockets across the road was a particular favourite shot.
The journey continues as the young lad reaches school, only to see a host of other great skiers flying about and doing flips all over the place.
